I chose to be involved in APhA as a P1 because I saw that APhA would give me a voice in shaping the future of the pharmacy profession. I am dedicated to helping this organization grow and thrive – please let me know how I can help you to do the same!

Vice President: Trang Tran
Email: UHAPhAASP@gmail.com
Bio: Hi everyone! My name is Trang Tran, and I am super excited to be this year’s Vice President of APhA-ASP! I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Public Accounting. I LOVE to travel, eat, and explore new things all over the WORLD! My passion for APhA-ASP sparked after attending my first APhA Annual Convention in Seattle this past year. Seeing how involved other chapters are in terms of making an impact in the community as student pharmacists inspired me to become an officer and to seek opportunities to make a difference. I believe our APhA-ASP chapter is a great umbrella organization that represents all types of interests in pharmacy. We have high expectations and many wonderful plans for this year, so I hope you all are excited to be a part of this new journey with us! Our profession is constantly changing and as students, we should take a pro-active role in advocating for what we believe the future of pharmacy should look like.

No doubt it’s a tough transition from undergraduate work to the curriculum here at the UHCOP, but I urge you all to come out and explore the opportunities APhA-ASP has to offer. I’m here to work along side all the other officers to make this year a fulfilling and rewarding experience. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and I’ll try my best to help. Have fun!
Secretary: Kim Anh Pham
Email: UHAPhAASP@gmail.com
Bio:My name is Kim Anh Pham and I am your secretary. Words cannot describe how excited I am to the new APhA-ASP school year. This organization has a special place in my heart since it was my first professional pharmacy organization and it had helped to solidify my interest in pharmacy as I attended meetings as a pre-pharmacy member. J I challenge each one of you to come out to at least one of our events or meetings and see how diverse our pharmacy profession has become. There is only four short years to play an active role in pharmacy and affect the lives of your patients, so don’t delay! I look forward to seeing you at our meetings and events. Feel free to stop me if you see me walking your way and say “Hello”.
About me: In my spare time, I love watching reality tv chef shows from all over the world and try to recreate the dishes. Unfortunately most of the time, it will turn out to be a disaster. Other than watching reality tv shows, I have an adorable puppy that I love to walk and play with at the park.
